the plague – part 2

Just when I feel as if the tides have turned in my favor, I experience the worst night of coughing, congestion, chills, and other unspeakable acts that had me torn between my bed and bathroom. It was not pretty and I consider myself a very classy lady. Needless to say, I am sitting here waiting for my appointment to roll around so I can figure out what this is.

I do not want it anymore. I am gladly ready to be done with it. Clearly this plague did not get the memo that I have other important tasks on my agenda (i.e. work, school, sewing, running).

Once I have news on what gross disease has decided to take up residency in my body, I’ll let you know. For now, I’m slowly going to try my luck in continuing to take medicine and praying that my doctor has some good news for me.

-sidenote: I signed up for the Dallas Rock ‘N’ Roll Marathon. It’s official, I’m going all in.
