30 is Everything, Reflection of 30

I’ve talked about my strength, courage & growth, my friends, and the love of my life over these last few weeks.

Within the last few days, I’ve learned that 30 is going to be my greatest year. I’ve spent more than enough time over the last three decades really cultivating myself into a woman that I could (and my dad would) be proud of. Last night, I shared some reflections of intentions that I want to carry into this 30th year on my personal Facebook page and figured I would share them here as well. They carry a lot of weight in my life and I honestly believe that they are a good reminder for all of us to live by.

Intentionally….

Be kind.
Don’t let people take advantage of you.
Embrace others with an open heart.
Don’t let anyone steal your shine.
Smile every chance you get.
Don’t compromise yourself for people who don’t value you.
Most importantly, love. Just love.

These are just a few of the things that I’ve taken to heart and will continue to practice each and every day. I’m 30. The strength that I’ve learned to carry myself is unmatched. I’ve got the sweetest love of one of the most caring men to ever come into my life. My friends are unparalleled and become an extension of the family I’ve needed during these last few years. With courage and growth, I challenge myself to remember one simple thing –

“You were put on this earth to achieve your greatest self, to live out your purpose, and to do it courageously.” ― Steve Maraboli

Here’s to 30.

Happy Birthday, Sevi! One of my 2016 goals was to “Always love. Always.” You’re right! I think everyone could stand to live my those mottos! Happy 30! 🙂

Love! I feel like I needed to see this as I quickly approach 30. Definitely time to re-evaulate some things and reflect as well.
