So remember the challenge I decided to accept for More Love for Moore – it’s coming along beautifully. I gave myself most of the weekend to get fabric cut out, quilt top pieced together, and as I was going about it I decided to make one for my mother in law for her birthday.
You read that right, two quilts in a weekend.
Indigo LaRue was the work horse of choice, while I get my new beauty (Marilyn Kenmore) into working order. And once again, he did not disappoint! After a good cleaning, we were off to work with large block and hard two quilt tops by the end of Sunday. Yesterday was basting and quilting. I got started a little later due to a birthday lunch, but got both basted and quilted.
I am very impressed with how both quilts are coming along and happy to say that I just need to bind these beauties. Forgive me now, I’m leaving all of that for the next two days because I have to actually do some homework.
I’ve slacked on the school work this weekend and have to make up for it and fast. As soon as I get these beauties, binded and branded – I will be looking forward to sharing it with you all!
