A Beautiful Truth About The Mothership.

This will be a quick post, because I have a party going down at my house the involves lots of alcohol and denim. Yes, denim.

I had my first new team meeting at the mothership yesterday with my not so new team. You see, we started out as sisters, became distant cousins, and are now back to being sisters – worked out impeccably well if I say so myself. These past few weeks have been rough with the realignment and life in general, but one of my co-sisters explained something so beautifully well yesterday that I had to put this out there.

She mentioned that regardless of all the stress, hardships, and frustrations we are facing – we are there for each other. My work family mean the world to me. It’s a mutual understanding that no matter what any of us need, we’ll forever be there for each other.

The mothership may have it’s pitfalls, but we will always have each other’s backs.

One big happy family!

On and don’t forget to come back for the start of GEEK MONTH tomorrow. I’ll be sharing my certification on why I am qualified to actually participate in Geek Month.

P.S. Thanks A.Mack for the inspiration for today’s post. Your beautiful high was true inspiration of how lucky and blessed I am to be surrounded by some of the greatest women I have even had the pleasure of working with.

Have fun at the denim party! But not too much fun haha. And it’s so good to have people in your life you can count on.

The sad part is, I didn’t wear denim! I found a gnarly pair of flower shorts at Goodwill that I couldn’t pass up. Oh and I am truly lucky to work with the group of women I work with!
