Bloggers Make Great Lovers.

I attempted to keep this as light hearted as possible and I started rambling a bit, but you get the idea.

“My ideas usually come not at my desk writing but in the midst of living.” -Anais Nin

168343_729466795875_3825397_nEver since I was a child, I’ve enjoyed writing. But more than writing, I wanted to be heard and seen. There wasn’t a moment that I did not want to be in the spotlight.

You wanted me to dance, I’d show you my best moves (aka The Tootsie Roll).

You wanted me to sing, I’d be Brandy, Monica, or TLC (Don’t gooooo chassssing waterfalls….).

You wanted me to act, here comes a full episode of All That – I was the female version of Pierre Escargot

My imagination was active and fueled with a passion to just be myself.

What inspires my blog posts are the random moments in life when you get this little nugget of inspiration like….

“Why doesn’t the rest of the world appreciate the sheer awesomeness and fun 8416_145493138089_816299_nthat is Sevi?” –Francesca

That would be the Francesca from The SITS Girls: Where Women Get Social.

My blog is fueled by the sheer fact that IDGAF. Life is too short to sit around and let other people define you, so I make it my prime goal in life to define myself. I’m not going to stand behind the red tape, I’m going to run straight through that ish and let you know the party has arrived. I’ve got no fear in just relishing in the fact that life is meant to be lived. You have to enjoy every day and make the most of it. I just decided to add a little perk to it by sharing my life with the masses.

A huge inspiration for my blog is my handy dandy BFF, my lady boy, the creme de la creme – Indio LaRue. He’s really the reason why this all started – along with lots of beer and a burger.

Indigo LaRue

Indigo LaRue

My creativity with this hobby has blossomed into a place where I’ve become fearless with sharing my creative side. The openness and joy I get from sharing an awesome craft is the reason why I started this blog and it quickly evolved from that. My life has so many moving pieces that there was no way my blog posts could just stay focused on Indigo LaRue.

Inspiration is a spark that is in everything for me. Its never the most obvious thing that stands out. I’m inspired by text messages from my best friends, reality TV, dancing in my car randomly in traffic to look over and see the stranger staring at me funny, when WareBear tells me I am a little ridiculous, reading what’s going on in all the other bloggers’ lives, and so much more. There are days when I’m inspired by a simple quote I may come across.

When it comes to blogging, its more than just people reading about my life. It’s my outlet to the world. The place where no matter who reads it, I allow myself to just be the person I want to be.

Blogging is my sanctuary to make a fool of myself, laugh at the debauchery ensued in my daily life, and just remember that every day is worth it.

There are days when I’m not the funniest. There are days when nobody will visit. There are days when I’m like why the hell did I ever think writing about that was a good idea. So on those days when you get randomness of what I had for breakfast or what WareBear thinks of my latest fabric shopping spree – it’s because I am just being me. Nobody else. What you see is what you get –

After 421 posts on The Lifestyles of Sevi, I missed it. There was a void that needed to be filled bloglinkupagain. You make friends. You share parts of your life you never think you would share. You start to realize how much of you really is invested in this blogging world. So now I’m back and enjoying every moment.

So in a nut shell, IDGAF about what people think because Enimem said it best… you only get one shot, do not miss your chance to blow! This opportunity comes once in a lifetime yo!

And these were my ramblings on what inspires my blog post!

I will say it took years for me to get to this point. I use to care about every little thing people said about me, then I grew up. Life happened and I realized that the little things aren’t worth stressing over.

That quote sums it all up! It’s all about living and enjoying every moment. You don’t have to be the most popular, you just have to love what you are putting out in the world.

Thanks for stopping by, stick around I won’t disappoint!

First off, I really appreciate you linking the abbreviation to Urban Dictionary, for those that are abbreviation challenged *cough* me *cough* Beautifully written post! My favorite is the part about there are days I’m not the funniest, there are days no one will visit. I have wanted to give up (and have even) on blogging because I felt everything I was writing was so stupid! If it is stupid, WHO CARES, don’t quit! IDGAF.

LOL! I’m so glad I could come through for you! IDGAF is my motto and I’m sticking to it. You do you very well, so you don’t really need that advice but all too often I come across people who truly need the pep talk that they need to own who they are in life. Embrace yourself, it’s nothing to be afraid of.

i love it! esp the “IDGAF” attitude because that’s how I am too. I write for me and if you don’t like it, then move the f*ck on! (not you, Sevi, but general public “you”) 🙂

LOL! Go Kathy! Sometimes you just have to let the world know that its not about them. Do you and all will be fine and dandy!

IDGAF seems to be becoming a common theme in our generation. Can’t say I mind it though. I’m learning to embrace ‘doing me’. My mother always told me that people will talk about you no matter what you do.

First, Boomer is precious. Second, it was a long hard road to get to this point. I have had some ups and downs with embracing myself; there are days when I still lose a tiny bit of faith in my worth. On those days, I push forward a little harder. Your mom was right people will always talk, but how you live your life and define your own worth is what matters the most.

Thanks for stopping by, stick around!

This is SO great. You really seem to live life and your blog is just another way of self-expression. I always say I hate being in the spotlight, and I really think I do, but my blog is a different story – maybe because I have more itme to think?

Your IDGAF attitude shows all throughout this post and I absolutely love it! I’m like this in life most of the time. Sometimes people end up thinking I’m a raging bitch for it, and you know what? IDGAF! 🙂
