Nowadays you see all of these different hashtags pertaining to some type of goals! Whether it be #squadgoals, #relationshipgoals, #lifegoals, and many more – we are looking for some kind of level of achievement in our goals.
It’s the end of the year and we are all sitting down to start game planning for 2016. Today’s blog is all about planning for the blog!
With 2016 being just a few days away, I’ve been in full swing with end of the year round ups and gearing up for what is to come in the new year. I decided to share the resources that I’ve been using to get my life right with this blog.
1 | Revisiting my tips to consistent blogging |
Now that the year is winding down, I’ve had to revisit my tips for consistent blogging to remind myself of the things I need to keep doing. Having a consistent regimen for blogging and creating content is important. I’ll be honest that I didn’t utilize as many link ups this year and I’m going to try and change that. I also am hoping that with a new project that I’m working on will help with exploring a new variety of formats for this blog.
2 | Utilizing my own effective 2016 Goal Planning Sheet |
There are so many different goal planning sheets floating around the internet and I’m quickly distracted by all the options. Instead of continuing my descent down the rabbit hole of which goal planning sheet worked for me, I opted to create my own. When creating my goal planning sheet, I wanted a quick dashboard to keep up with my social media counts at the beginning of the year – hence the social media markers on the side. The pyramid is my easy way to make a tier of the goals I want to work towards achieve in 2016, with additional space at the bottom for notes. Simple, clean, and one page. Let’s do this.

3 | Prepping Weekly Blog Sheets for the first quarter |
13 quick printouts later, a fancy binder, and a quick viewing of my calendar – I made my way through the first quarter of the year with my weekly blog planning sheets. I focused on holidays, fashion trends, shopping ideas, future projects I have in the works, and left some space for any spur of the moment world trends that arrive. Having an plan helps tremendously when sitting down to curate the content that will be going up on the blog and social media channels.
In addition to these three resources, I’ve been prepping for a blog planning session with my besties and working on a large project. I’m ready to tackle 2016 with some serious gumption!
What have you been doing to prep for 2016? Any tips to share, I’d love to hear them!
