Bright Side of Summer

Hello Sunshine!

Hello Summer!

Dallas has had the most spectacular weather and of course I’ve been sick. Prior to this picture perfect weather, I was pretending that this weather was here by dressing in my summer brightest. Everyone that knows me understands that I am a huge fan of prints, bright hues, and a comfortable pant to get me through the summer. The other week we all decided to venture out to Steel City Pops on Lower Greenville for a sweet treat.

Of course, I capitalized on this outing with my favorite summer essentials!

With a Strawberry Lemonade pop in hand, you couldn’t tell me that it wasn’t a sunny day in Dallas without a care in the world. Everything about this outfit screams comfortable yet chic. Which for a girl like me is important. In no way do I have the time and energy to make an effort to wear summer dresses everyday. This pixie pants come in a variety of different colors and are so lightweight. My Katydid tank adds girly flair but keeps the entire look casual!

Of course I pulled the entire outfit together with my jean jacket and amazing Vera Bradley coral satchel. These two staples are just so hard to let go and work well with so much of my wardrobe. Don’t be surprised if I live the summer in this look. Here’s to sunshine and margaritas!

I love this outfit!! And your popcicle matches! lol Also, that’s a Vera Bradley bag I could get behind. I’ve never been a big fan of the cloth bags with the busy prints (I know that may put our friendship in jeopary… I’m sorry. lol) But, I love me a leather bag! Especially in such a gorgeous color!!
