Affordable Style with Cato Fashions

I love a good deal when it comes to shopping for new clothing. I’m notorious for waiting for the next big sale to roll around before stocking up on the latest fashion trends for my closet. When we lived in Carrollton, we were right around the corner from a Cato Fashions and it was my go to location to find clothing for any occasion. From weddings, to baby showers, and ladies night out – Cato Fashions provides “on-trend fashions, high quality and exclusive styles… all at an exceptional value.”

The grand opening for their newest Dallas location (Glen Oaks Village, 4777 Vista Wood Boulevard, Suite 120 Dallas, TX, 75232) made for a perfect Friday morning stop before running errands around the area. Upon walking into the store, I was promptly greeted by Bree with a friendly welcome and she extended her help for any assistance I may need during my shopping endeavor.

I didn’t waste any time, all of the colors and bold prints were calling my name. This store had a beautiful layout and everything was so accessible. Each time I noticed a styled outfit on their display, close by you were pleased to see everything you needed to replicate that exact outfit. All too often we get lost looking for one or two pieces that were on a display and are never able to really find it.

As my pile in my hand continued to get larger and larger, I was pleasantly surprised that each price tag didn’t read more than $24.99. I lingered over to the plus size section and applauded Cato for carrying the exact same merchandise (for the exact same prices) as their smaller sizes. For a girl who has large hips and a booty, sometimes I have to wear the plus sizes to accommodate for that. It was very refreshing to see that if I needed to go up one more size, I could actually find it on the other side of the store. Plus size women deserve the same right to feel sexy and Cato Fashions sees to that.

After finding successful trying on a variety of different items, I casually checked out with Pamela at the register. She was very attentive in making sure that I was satisfied with my purchase, even mentioning some accessories that would go well with an outfit I had picked out. After looking at the accessories, I was on my way out of the door with two new outfits, a red skirt found on clearance, and of course some funky sunglasses.

Love Cato, really wish their store was closer to me. I too love that the plus size and regular size clothes are the same style and price.
