You’re lucky that this is even being typed out. I literally feel like I am on my last leg.
Your body can only do so much and I learned that first hand this weekend. Friday was gloomy and rainy in Dallas, which did not help with my allergies or the fact that I was not ready for the slight temperature drop. My body doesn’t do well with that – at all.
When I say, my weekend was busy – it was BUSY. So much planned to do for the beginning of my birthday festivities. Imagine my surprise when I woke up bright and early on Saturday morning with the plague. You read that right, the plague.
A steroid shot, antibiotics, and new nasal spray later – I was back at home sleeping before the start of the big night. I needed to rest my body. I needed to let that steroid shot seep in and really do some work.
After the shot and a nice long 4 hours nap, the work was done.
Boy, did it do some work…it did some work! I managed to put my happy face on and gear up for the start of my birthday celebrations.
There was neon, so much neon. There was wildness and crazy outfits. There was fun and bright colors!
By the time I got home that evening, I was literally drained and cannot believe that I managed to take a shower. When I finally went to bed, I knew I needed to get better before Kelly Clarkson and Maroon 5.
I had no clue what was in store for WareBear and myself on Sunday…FREE TICKETS to the Cowboys Game for my happy go lucky husband who just happens to be a huge Cowboys fan!
We left the game, I came home with a fever, laid down for a mere 3 hours and was out of the door to see Maroon 5 (Adam Levine) and Kelly Clarkson.
What a night, what a weekend! If you are going to celebrate a weekend, celebrate it right.
That lives me here, in bed, at home, with new antibiotics, no fever, but trying to slowly fight whatever this is that I have. Two days before my 27th birthday and I am sick. I am slowly back on my antibiotic kick since getting them switched up and trying to get better.
Thank you to all of my beautiful friends that contributed to this weekend. Thank you to all the ones that have sent me amazing texts of support today while I was sick.
Hello Friends! Hello Monday! Now let’s look forward to Wednesday and a beautiful birthday of epic proportions!
