Goal Setting

Crave Life & Opportunity

Each year, I’ve been focusing in on one word to define the purpose and drive of the year.  A week into 2015 and I’ve finally settled on my word of the year:

crave (verbfeel a powerful desire

Seeing as this is the year of the #girlboss, it only makes sense that crave is my driving catalyst for all of the amazing plans I have professionally, blog, and lifestyle related. I crave to be successful, influential, an even better friend, achieve goals, and so much more!

With this word, I’ve made plans to fulfill my cravings in life.

This is where the Lara Casey PowerSheets come into play.

My intention with craving to be a better me starts with successfully making and achieving tangible goals. These are my stepping stone to really honing in on the plans I have for myself in 2015 and beyond. Of course, I’ll keep you update on my progress because it wouldn’t be a journey without you all!

Now that I’ve shared my word of the year and my intention on setting tangible goals, I would like to share some amazing news. Today is groundbreaking for my professional career as I make a huge move from my previous role in the non-profit sector to an exciting role in the criminal justice system. As most of you know (if you’ve been reading), my Masters degree is in Criminology. After one of the most rigorous application, interviewing, and screening processes I can confirm that I was selected for an amazing opportunity.

I won’t be able to share much in regards to my role, but I can tell you that I am excited to dive into this with a craving for success.

Wish me luck and stick around!

*Shout out to Valery for introducing me to the PowerSheets.
