All Dolled Up & Ready to Party

“I believe in being strong when everything seems to be going wrong. I believe that happy girls are the prettiest girls. I believe that tomorrow is another day, and I believe in miracles.” -Audrey Hepburn

I also believe in parties. Pretty dresses. Glitter. Oh and being the center of attention!

It’s my first big event at the new gig, aka the voyager (new code name for the gig) and I am ready to do photothis. To put this event into perspective for you, our top VIPs of the evening have shelled out a nice $100,000 to entertain 30 guests in a private lounge with all the bells and whistles.

This event has made for a very interesting first week at the voyager. When it comes to the high dollar donors, it seems to create a fun and intense urgency to make sure that everything gets accomplished. My first week at the voyager has been a roller coaster of ups and downs as this event inches closer and closer. Preparing volunteers for their roles, press conferences, and so much more were involved in this week of just sheer excitement. We were closed yesterday and will be closed today to ensure that everything is in perfect shape.

I will be a delight in black and have made it known that people need to see my dress. This dress was made for me and has pockets! Who doesn’t love a dress with pockets?!? I do plan on sharing any pictures that I get from the event this evening – it should be exciting!

I’ve got an exciting weekend ahead of me with brunch, date night, and starting my wild work schedule. Here’s to the weekend!

Ha! Voyager. Star Trek references make me happy. I bet you’ll look fab in your dress.

This place is basically where no man has gone! Out of this world, so the name is fitting!
