End of a Birthday Month…For Now

**I apologize – this post is very picture heavy!**

Sevitember, its been real. A real pleasure, treat, and all around good time for the start of year 28.

Quite a few people said this would be the hardest birthday, being the first without my dad. I expected to shed quite a few tears and drown in pools of sorrow. That plan was spoiled as soon as I arrived at work!

I was showered in love, support, and my favorite of all….GIFTS!

Not just any ordinary gifts, but legit unique gifts that each time I opened a new present I was floored with how awesome they were. Like really awesome and totally Sevi!

As you can see, amazing gifts from ridiculously awesome people that I am so blessed to have in my life.

What made this birthday month even better was closing out the weekend with a few of my nearest and dearest friends, the forevers. These are my girls from middle school that have been there for me over the years and made sure that right after my dad passed away I enjoyed a girls trip that had been planned for ages.

We went to the State Fair of Texas!

We deemed this the most ridiculous pose ever.

BIG TEX!

I conquered this birthday with a positive outlook and it worked. While I missed my dad, he was there for me in a number of different way and people that have touched my life. He is happy watching over me, knowing that I have kind friends who truly care about me.

So thank you to everyone who reached out to me and sent me positive love. I appreciate it very much and I couldn’t imagine my life without any of you.

On to the final day of Sevitember!
