Football Hangover, The Morning After – Week 11

Welcome to Week 11 of Ware is the Vodka’s Football Hangover!

I may be a lady, but I do enjoy sports. Not only do I enjoy sports, I UNDERSTAND them. This is a recap of all three of my fantasy football teams. The good, the bad, and the “I need to be drunk in order to survive the week” ugly.

Ol’ Jim basically sums up this week and the results I saw with all of my teams. With our huge gala at the Voyager and a busy Sunday at work – I didn’t have any time to even focus on any of my teams. This resulted in foolery all around!

League – Voyager 1, Team – Touch Me Down There 2-9

Ehhh, what’s new – I lost! I mean there really isn’t much to say besides I can’t come back for any type of saving grace. The best part is that the number 1 team lost this week too! I guess I can’t take it too seriously.

Nothing more to report. I lost.

Week 11 MVP – Colin Kaepernick, WR 14.12

League – Black Unicorns, Team – Show Me Your TDs 7-4

A loss in this league as well! I’m not sure where the disconnect happened, but my players just didn’t show up. It was a bad game for everyone. Shonn Greene (RB) couldn’t carry his own weight, let alone the ball. Ahmad Bradshaw (RB) is out for the rest of the season, which leaves me scrambling to find another running back and fast. It was not a good week, but I’m still sitting at the top of the leaderboards in second place.

Week 11 MVP – Jordy Nelson, WR 16.90

League – Endzone Divas, Team – Back That Pass Up 4-7

Guess what?  Another loss! This was against one of the better teams in the league, so I’m not sweating it so much. Both of my defenses went -5, so there was no saving grace in that category. Everyone is still pretty healthy on this team, so I’m going to make a last ditch effort to land in the top 5 of the league.

Week 11 MVP –Le’Veon Bell, RB  27

At this point, I’m just trying to make it until the end of the season with a lineup intact. I get so busy and tend to forget those last minute changes that need to be made. Here’s to week 12 and hopefully a win in at least one league.

“I can’t live in a house where I’m not respected as a fantasy football player.”
