Earlier this year I sat down with my blog besties and made some intentional goals for my blog. To name a few:
- 1500 Instagram Followers
- Become more fashion forward – dedicate at least 1 blog post for something fashion related (Diversity Chic, Fashion Link Ups, etc.)
- Become more blog knowledgeable
- Google Analytics
- Understanding self-hosted WordPress
- Media Kit
- Blog at least twice a week
- Create quality content for my readers
This goals were all tangible and I had my blog besties to hold me accountable for my progress on these goals. One day I’ll get into the other goals, but right now I want to focus on the creating quality content for my readers. Quite a few of my readers are bloggers or interested in blogging, so I created something that would cater to both groups.
When I started blogging 2 and a half years ago, it was so difficult to maintain a consistent blogging schedule. It was always so hard to figure out where to start and half of the time all of my scribbles of pending blog posts would get lost in my planner. This was a blessing and a curse, so after nearly 2 years of this I finally decided to do something about it. After a few weeks of testing out different layouts, I finally created the perfect weekly planner that I can print out and slip into my planner to keep track of all thing pertaining to my blog.
To make my life easier, I added additional space for any content ideas that may intrigue me and a nifty little notes section to keep up with the little things.
As an added bonus, I’ve also included my tipsy tips to consistent blogging. These are tips that have helped me tremendously over the last few years to create a system to assure that I posted at least twice a week.
