Monday Hangover | Girl About Town

My weekends are entirely too short! Can we please start the petition to the President to take on another day?!?! We are doing ourselves a disservice by only have two days off out of seven. I mean I could really use the extra day to sleep or online shop or sleep.
I managed to make the most of my weekend and in grand fashion. Let’s jump right into it!

Friday evening was Girls Night Out with the forever friends and it was quite the night! We hit up the DMA and then ventured out to Deep Ellum.
I can’t venture into the night. I’ll tell you this – it involved a lot of vodka, dancing, taking a $70 Uber ride home, but not regretting a minute because you are going home $200 richer.

Oh yeah, you read that right – $200 richer. dallas - culture - dallas museum of art - downtown dallas - girls night out
But I’m not telling that tale here – if you catch me around ask me about it!
With a late Friday evening, Saturday I was slow getting started. After doing all of the busy adult stuff during the day, I had the pleasure of attending the Flight Young Professionals 2015 Gala for the fabulous Oh So Cynthia. More details will be on her blog and I’m be sure to share when it’s live! I’ll say it was a grand time and I’m fortunate that Jerrieal of Lumarnescence was the best date!

Yesterday was awesome because I didn’t touch any kind of social media until well late in the day, but for the best reasons. My work wife, Little S (even though we no longer work together), was blessed with the most precious little girl. This sweet family invited David and myself out to their church for the dedication of their princess. Words cannot describe the relationship that I have with this family and especially Little S. She is a fierce woman who is ambitious and the best example of what a woman of faith should strive to be. I was beyond honored and humbled that she and her husband allowed us to be apart of their community for their precious little one.

What made my social media presence even more scarce was the fact that I was able to get my baby fill with not only sweet baby T, but handsome baby N was present. The Macks are a sweet couple that I’ve had the pleasure of following through Little S. They had a baby boy shortly after T was born. I’ll be the first to say that my heart melted, because this little man was giving me life. Seriously could’ve spent the rest of the afternoon, but alas I had other plans.
It’s Monday, you know what time it is!
