Give me weekends or give me death!

Who doesn’t love a good weekend recap – well get ready for it because this was a good one.  I literally wish I could have more weekend on top of more weekends, with a little bit of weekends sprinkled in here and there.

It all kicked off on Thursday night when we made the crazy decision to go to a haunted house. My co-workers are awesome, but holy hell in a handbasket! I left with a sore throat and headache from all of the screaming that I did from the entire duration. We also failed to get a group picture after the haunted house, so upon our return to the Voyager we made it happen. David presented me with an iPhone 6 for my birthday and I risked it on the back of my car for this fabulous group picture.

NAILED IT!

Upon waking upon on Friday, David and I had a need to eat. So what do you do when you and your significant other both have Friday morning off? You brunch. David allowed me to put on my cutest outfit and took me out to my favorite place to enjoy breakfast, Max’s Wine Dive.

Everything was delicious and we were able to enjoy some quality time before he worked the overnight. He totally was my errand boy as I needed to run and pick up a few things for a bridal shower I was attending on Saturday. The best part about David is that regardless of what the rest of his day has in store, he is more than willing to go above and beyond for me. Our errands required a much needed nap since David had to work the overnight shift and still planned on celebrating Claire’s birthday at BJ’s.

We managed to take separate cars and make it to BJ’s just a few short minutes before Happy Hour ended. If you haven’t had their Wildberry Mojito – get one. It was $5 of pure sweet delicious heaven! It was great celebrating Claire and seeing her face when she opened her gift. It was perfect because I put in a lot of work to get it personalized just for her. She was all smiles and rightfully so – she is loved by so many people!

The weekend was closed out celebrating one of my sweetest friends I had the pleasure of meeting through the mothership. Kristi was one of the first people that I had the pleasure of hanging out with at my former place of work. Our personalities are so similar its a little creepy, but totally cool in a bizarre sort of way. Her bridal party hosted her shower this weekend and it was a beautiful affair. I cannot put into words how stunning Kristi looked and cannot wait to see her on her wedding day. It was a gorgeous morning of blessings, fellowship, and love for a much deserving woman.

I’ve already been back to work, because I work on Sundays. I’ve already complained to David that I need to have longer weekends, because I don’t want to work on Sundays. Let me just repeat myself when I say GIVE ME WEEKENDS OR GIVE ME DEATH!

Tonight is Zumba with Berty from Mad for Fashion For Less! Wish me luck, because your girl is going to need it!

Happy Monday people!

I bow to your haunted house bravery and envy your Max’s brunch. You and your friend look so gorgeous at that bridal shower!!! I agree, you need Sundays off (so we can hang out).
