Remember when I mentioned that I had to work this past Saturday and I was bummed about it. It seemed like it was the end of the world and having to work the next day was not any easier.
Ok, it wasn’t too bad. Actually, it was pretty freaking phenomenal. Honestly, I had every intention of staying only until 10:00PM, grabbing a quick drink with the S&M show, and then heading home to tackle my Sunday work day.
The S&M show finished their duties (along with all the other staff and volunteers) for the evening and were resting their sweet dainty feet, when they were easily convinced to check out the after party of The Voyager’s big evening (it ain’t my job to talk about the event – so look it up on the interwebs).
To make a long story short, we met up with our counterparts and formed S&M squared. When you put a bunch of party people in a room with alter egos, a great band, and the who’s who of Dallas – you better not expect anything less from this diva.
The party was hype. It got real. We shut the dance floor down.
SHUT IT DOWN.
These are my people and they totally get me. I drank. I danced. I GOT DOWN. Oh and I’m sure I won’t have a job by the end of the day! If you’re going to party, GO OUT WITH A BAND!
