Seriously I have something planned every weekend until Saturday, November 16. I can’t complain because this is life. It’s full of blessings, hope, love, compassion, and much much more that I am lucky to enjoy with family and friends. This weekend was yet another reason why I am very fortunate to have so many amazing people in my life.
I got a jump start on prepping for the 3 Day with Vera Bradley Breast Cancer Foundation and The Vintage House. Joan Bradley Reedy (Vera Bradley Brand Ambassador, breast cancer survivor, and daughter of the late Vera Bradley) signed my backpack that I will be wearing for the walk – which was awesome in itself. It was a beautiful event of true spirit and survival.
I also ate my weight in cookies and cake!
“The roses, the lovely notes, the dining, and dancing are all welcome and splendid. But when the Godiva is gone the gift of real love is having someone who’ll go the distance with you. Someone who, when the wedding day limo breaks down, is willing to share a seat on the bus.” – Oprah
Fall and winter weddings are my absolute favorite. I love seeing two people so in love that they are excited to share the rest of their days together. It also helped that this fall wedding featured the stud of mine as best man. I must say, he was handsome.
WareBear and I do three things well: dancing, drinking, and weddings. And to think, we have another in just three weeks!
How was your weekend?!? Tomorrow’s fantasy football recap will not be pretty considering that I am bad luck chuck for any players that I pick up.
