InstaWeekend | Sevitember Edition

It’s 10:42PM and I’ve been debating how to figure out what would be the most appropriate way to recap the amazing weekend that I’ve had for Sevitember.

I decided to use everyone’s favorite photo sharing platform, Instagram, to relive the weekend (with a Facebook and Twitter post here and there).

Before I get into the debauchery, I need to share a few words of wisdom I put on my personal Facebook. It’s only right that I share these words here because honesty is my policy. I’ve been transparent about my struggles over the last year coping with my dad’s death, so it’s only right that I share my triumphs as I continue to move forward.

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11

I woke up this morning with a sense of peace and good fortune. There are no words to describe how incredibly lucky I am to have the people that I have in my life. Six months ago, I was struggling to figure out where I had gone wrong in life. Questioning my very existence and if I was strong enough to move forward. I have chosen to be unapologetically me.  I’m a big personality, but I refuse to compromise and apologize for that. The people that matter know that I would give them the shirt off my back, move hills and mountains, and just be there during their time of need. HE has plans for me and I am prepared.

Here’s to 29!

So here I am – 29, divine, and coming off a weekend of the best times with my friends. So much fun and all documented through pictures from a sweet ride, karaoke, brunch, a little partying Greek, and a Dallas Blogger Collective event; this weekend was one for the books! Check it all out below!

Huge shout out to Public School 214 for being so accommodating to my large party with no hesitations!

Celebrated my birthday with a fabulous brunch Public School 214! I am looking forward to learning more life lessons as I embark on year 29. http://bit.ly/29thbirthday

Seriously, I couldn’t ask for a better weekend. It was everything I have ever wanted in a birthday weekend. Low key, simple, and surrounded by people who are amazing in my life. Now if I can actually catch up on some sleep…..

Make sure you come back on Wednesday to see if you are the winner of my ultimate birthday giveaway!

This looks like one heck of an AHmazing weekend. I want to repeat it completely, well other than being a Subaru gal. However, that did look like sweet ride.
The Greek Festival in Dallas is something that I haven’t been to yet but by golly, I am going find it and schedule it now.

Rachel if there is one thing I love more than anything its my birthday. I celebrate the entire month unapologetically! A Subaru is actually on the short list of what I would like for my next vehicle, stick around because I may need to pick your brain.

Oh and the Greek Food Festival is the single greatest to take place in Dallas after the State Fair of Texas. The delicious Greek foods that you indulge make me want it to happen right now!!!
