Goal Setting

June Small Goals

Linking up for June small goals with Nicole from writes like a girl. Another month of goals to tackle, but before we get into this month’s goals let’s revisit May.

Revisiting May Goals

Finish spring cleaning – COMPLETE

Schedule dry run to hospital with go team – COMPLETE

Prep frozen meals for after baby’s arrival – COMPLETE

Get postpartum plans complete – COMPLETE

Take time for myself – COMPLETE

5 for 5 people! I managed to do all of these this last month and I couldn’t be more proud of myself. Seriously, the best month and I was anxious the entire time. The thought of not being able to get things done loomed over me the entire time, but my tribe came through. The feeling I have going into June small goals with such an amazing month under my belt is surreal.

June Small Goals

With June small goals here, I went with simplicity this month. I didn’t want things to be too daunting with the baby girl on the way. Plus with so many life changes with friends and family, I needed to just take things easy.

Cut back on my personal Facebook

This ties into the privacy I want to keep for little Delilah Claire. We don’t plan on sharing any pictures (or allowing others to do so) anytime soon. I need to cut back on making Facebook my top priority every day. I’m still sharing on my blog Facebook page because the control is more in my hands than on my personal one. Both the Facebook and Messenger app will be deleted very soon to just give me some time away. I’m pretty proud of myself for the steps I’ve taken these last few days!

Blog once a week

With a new baby on the way and conquering my May goals, I didn’t really take the time to plan ahead on my blogs. That was a distant priority for me with baby girl’s arrival right around the corner. My weekly blog post will consist of Simply Mommy Chronicles and documenting motherhood. Only until I get back on my feet and find a rhythm with this sweet girl.

Have a baby

That’s pretty self- explanatory. We are more than ready to meet our little one.

What are you goals for this month? Leave one in the comments below!
