Stars, stripes, and fireworks!

Yours truly is ready for the holiday weekend and all the fun that comes along with it. I’m a huge fan of Independence Day and you can thank Will Smith for that. Ok, not really but I love something about the all American feel of this holiday and spending the evening with friends enjoying the festivities.

Of course for every party, you have to be dressed appropriately! So this year I found the perfect tank to celebrate this glorious day.

At Dallas Blogger Collective Tea Party hosted by The Vintage House, I won this fabulous Vera Bradley crossbody bag and decided that this was the perfect time to pair it with my outfit for the weekend. It’s the perfect size to fit all of the essentials for going out with friends.

I figured since it’s Independence Day, I can totally get away with wearing the stars and stripes of the American flag on my shirt….even when Old Navy mixes it up a bit. The tank is comfy and will get the job done when I’m having a good time with friends. The best part about it is that you can dress it up with a cute circle skirt or wear cutoffs for a good time.

So who’s ready for fireworks, beer, and a grand ol’ time!
