Slowly but surely my friends are getting hitched and I am loving it! WareBear and I will be celebrating 6 blissful years of marriage this December, so it’s nice to celebrate the love of our friends as they take the leap on life together.
Saturday night we experienced yet another wonderful time as #mcthursby tied the knot. The ceremony was beautiful, light-hearted, and everything I expected from this amazing couple.
Everything was perfect. The families showed so much love and compassion to each and every guest. We were all welcomed and it was a beautiful thing.
There was drinking, a flash mob (that I drunkenly stumbled through), a photo booth, and lots of dancing. When I say dancing, WE DANCED all night long. My hips and feet are still sore from dancing the night away.
It was great being around great friends, celebrating a blissful union.
With weddings, I am constantly reminded that I am lucky to be loved and I don’t think it is coincidence that I have been lucky to hear 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 at nearly all of the ceremonies we’ve been at.
As cliche as it may sound, it’s perfect.
4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. 1 Corinthians 13:4-7
Happy Monday people! Come back tomorrow for recap on the new job and a horrible fantasy football showing.
