Monday Blues.

After the weekend I’ve had, I really didn’t want to wake up this morning. Plus, I woke up with pink eye yesterday and that’s not cute on anybody. Besides that unfortunate occurrence, the weekend wasn’t too eventful. Lots of running around to run errands, focusing on homework, and dealing with other issues that just seem to get worse . I’m ridiculously lucky and blessed to have such an awesome support system in my life.

In case you missed it, I was the guest blogger for for Sevi’s Spectacular and Geekalicious Saturdays for Geek Month! I take pride in my inner chic geek, so please go and check it out.   You may even discover a new series of books that you will become addicted. Also, Elise is putting together some awesome DIYs and recipes. I have already told WareBear that we need to have a The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings day, complete with Seed Cake.

Since we are on the subject of Geek Month and it’s Sci-Fi Week – I can’t help but share this ridiculous awesome post from Screen Shot 2013-09-08 at 9.19.32 PMBuzzFeed Geeky. I am a huge fan of BuzzFeed and every day they seem to amaze me with a new section of their website that I seem to stumble upon with every intriguing post that I come across.

I was floored when BuzzFeed Geeky presented the beautifully macabre Disney Princesses by Jeffrey Thomas. The details, the gore, the creepy factor, and the sheer fact that he took those bubble-gum princesses to a brand new level of terror is captivating to a sick twisted soul like myself. Please feel free to get me every last single one of them in print or life-size posters. The Lion King one is near and dear to my heart, but that Princess Tiana one was enough for me to want to make it my Halloween costume this year!

That’s all I got for today kids. Happy Monday!

yuck on the pink-eye. that means someone farted on your pillow. JOKES!!

polysporin makes drops for that so no need to see a doc. just head on out to your drugstore and look for polysporin drops for conjunctivitis. there’s a giant pink eye on the box; can’t miss it.
