With all the renovation projects going on, I haven’t really focused on how different our new neighborhood is from our old one.
We are much closer to my job, the voyager, which was a huge plus for me. Not only that, but we are around a ton of awesome resale shops and home improvement stores near that have been lifesavers to some of our home renovation projects. Shopping is easily accessible with a Whole Foods and Sprouts right around the corner!
Which leads into how last night we were standing out in the Texas heat surrounded by food trucks getting our noms on!
On my way home from the voyager, my eyes stumbled across food trucks located in the parking lot by our local Sprouts. With it being so close to the house, I decided to mention it to David to see what he would think. Of course, I had it in my mind to convince him that we needed to go and check out the fun stuff happening in our hood.
It didn’t take much past food trucks. He was all game for it.
We went, we conquered, and stuffed our faces with delicious Dough Boys Pizza and The Cup Cakin Machine! I decided to go with the You Call It personal pizza with pepperoni, basil, and mushrooms. It was such a divine work of art that I didn’t bother taking any foodie pictures of it! David enjoyed a You Call It personal pizza with pepperoni, basil, and jalapenos; he did mention that it was great, but he could’ve used a larger portion (men!). Our dessert was a treat for all of the hard work we’ve been doing in the house, so we each indulged in a chocolate salted caramel cupcake.
All in all, it was a good night and I cannot wait to share more about our new neighborhood.
