We’re a week into September and Delilah is exactly 3 months old today! I’m back at work and feeling some type of way. I can’t quite pinpoint what those feelings entail, but I’ll keep you posted. With a week under my belt for my favorite month of the year – I need to continue to hold myself accountable. The best way to stay accountable is to link up with Nicole of Writes Like a Girl for her monthly September small goals.
Revisiting August Small Goals
Before we jump into my new goals, let’s take a look at how I did in August.
Establish a pumping schedule for when I return to work.DONE
- Plan out blogs for the next 3 months. ……Let’s work on this
- Join a mommy group – Haven’t found one that really works well with my schedule as of now, so I’m putting this on the back burner.
- Prep 2018 blog goals …..Another one I need to work on
Gear up forSevitember !DONE!
Not my best month, but I was pretty consumed with my favorite person!
September Small Goals
As for this month, I really wanted to be intentional with my goals!
- Create new blog media kit
Need to stop talking about it and be about it. I’ve literally been postponing this for months. This month, I’m going to make an effort to start the process of creating a new media/brand kit. After all of the mommyhood blogging, I’ve found my calling and I want to share it with the world.
- Dive into Feel Good Dress Better
The first birthday present I decided to gift myself for Sevitember is the Feel Good Dress Better workbook. It’s a comprehensive workbook to help you define your personal style written by Nicole of Writes Like a Girl. After having a baby, losing weight, and spending a vast majority of the last 12 weeks in sweats I’ve been in a rut. My wardrobe hasn’t been fun and I don’t enjoy getting dressed. I am looking forward to really figuring out my personal style and making shopping fun again (MSFA). Definitely like MSFA over MAGA!
- Remove unnecessary spending from budget
There are a few small things that I need to remove. Cancel subscriptions and just be more cognizant of the money that is coming out of our accounts.
- Stick to my fitness goals
Trying really hard to be present in my fitness journey. I set specific goals to attempt to balance my lifestyle. So far, so good!
- Do at least 1 craft project!
I miss being behind my sewing machine. I’m making it my priority to do at least one craft project this month. It was easy to pick out what I wanted to do and I hope I can get it completed in the short amount of time I have. Of course, it’s baby related!
