Perfection, noun: the condition, state, or quality of being free or as free as possible from all flaws or defects.
Over the past year, I have documented my plight of being a full time student, wife, employee, and wannabe socialite as I worked my way towards my Masters Degree. There were nights when I skipped going out and nights when I wanted to drink myself into a drunken stupor. Copious amounts of tears were shed as I inched closer and closer to my goal of completing this accomplishment of higher education. Days were spent running on a good 3-4 hours of sleep due to pulling a late night study session or finishing up a research paper to assure that it was up to par of the professor’s standards.
Grades have been submitted and I can proudly say I reached a state of perfection. I GOT A PERFECT 4.0 IN MY MASTERS PROGRAM! There are not enough words to even begin to describe the emotions I have right now. All I can think about is the stress, fear, and blood that I put into the work towards this degree.
In the last few weeks, I have earned membership with The National Society of Leadership and Success and with The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi due to the outstanding achievement. I can rest easy because, I’m officially finished!
All of my requirements are fulfilled and in just 30 days I will be sauntering across the stage to accept my Masters Degree in Applied Criminology.
To celebrate, I decided its time to do some rebranding! So I ordered new blog rep cards (business cards just sounds too official and business like) for all of my fun networking events.
They won’t be here before this Friday before I head out to a meetup, but I figured I would give a sneak peek –
How much fun are those?!? I cannot even contain my excitement. Here’s to having a life again!
