Often I’ve taken the time to write about my absolute favorite place to visit nearly every weekend, The Vintage House. It’s a hidden gem in Carrollton that I constantly tell people to visit for all of your gifting (and personal) shopping needs. From weddings, baby showers, birthday, and Christmas presents I have been able to count on this little pink house to meet all of my needs.
This weekend the Vintage House graciously hosted a private tea party for Dallas Blogger Collective. Words cannot describe how gorgeous of a backdrop my favorite little pink house was for this spectacular get together of nearly 50 Dallas bloggers.
Honestly, I don’t even know where to start.
Wait, that’s a lie – there was cake! The most fantastic cake by the C Star Cakes that screamed “please take a picture of me and post how amazing I am.”
That’s the DBC logo painted on the cake!
I mean if that isn’t welcome enough, Nan and her entire tribe were the most gracious hosts. They welcomed everyone with a smile and made sure we all entered our names into the door prizes. Alli of Alli K Design provided the most amazing signage for the entire event and it was so great to have the opportunity to shop her prints while we were there.
The door prizes were a Vera Bradley heaven! From leather and faux leather purses, wallets, clutches, and so much more – you would’ve thought we were in Fort Wayne, Indiana. We went from 5 grand prize items to an additional 10 pink wristlets being given out! I ended up winning a faux leather purse, so stay tuned to catch a glimpse of it soon.
Besides all of the amazing shopping, door prizes, and food – it was truly great seeing so many local bloggers being able to get together for a fun carefree event. We talked, laughed, snapped candid photos in front of the step and repeat (and a few outfit photos), and shopped the afternoon away.
It truly couldn’t have gone any better until the swag bags were given out. I’m not trying to be bias, but this is hands down one of the best swag bags I’ve ever received at an event. It wasn’t a bunch of coupons that expire by a certain date! It was tangible items that I can totally use every day. So many Vera Bradley goodies that I swooned over each of the pieces as I sifted through my bag. Also, the most perfect sign to sum up my blogging life from Alli K Design!
I have this habit of visiting The Vintage House and falling into hostess/employee/gift wrapper. Nothing changed on Sunday; I instantly fell into making sure that everyone was having a good time, eating enough food, snapping pictures for others on their phones and exploring the entire house. I didn’t get to mingle as much, but if that means everyone had a great time – then it doesn’t matter. It was worth it to make sure these beautiful babes had the best time ever.
A Sunday tea party well done by Nan and The Vintage House Staff, Alli of Alli K Design, Christy of C Star Cakes, Melissa of Vera Bradley, and Stephanie and Jasmine – Co-Founders of Dallas Blogger Collective.
