It’s Thursday vodka lovers and time for Thursday Threads!
I’m just getting around to sharing this outfit because I’ve had so many different outfits over the last few weeks just take priority over this one. This outfit literally was a rain or shine near mishap – it was a must share for that reason alone. I’m taking it back to the short lived crochet braids for this week’s outfit!
My fantastic blogger bestie/photographer, Stephanie, managed to snag these photos as the rain started to roll into Dallas. Basically, don’t mind the rain droplets!!!
I’m a laid back kind of girl. I love to dress up, but any excuse to wear a cute pair of oxfords and still managed to be a lady is key! That’s where this fun whimsical twist on being a gentlelady.
This outfit is has such a feminine feel while staying in my comfort zone when it comes to shorts. The shirt is soft and flowy, with a sweet touch with the bows at the keyholes. The pleats add so much character to this shirt and I love it! The shorts are the perfect length to wear out and about for a number of different occasions – brunch, date night, or out with friends. For this outfit, I opted to wear my suede oxfords that I nabbed at Target a few years ago. Let me tell you that I wear these shoes with shorts, skirts, and jeans because they are the most comfortable shoes ever. I made sure to pair them to add a little comfort to this outfit for walking up and down the streets of Lower Greenville in Dallas.
Unfortunately, I can’t link anything in this outfit currently available because I’ve had all of the piece for a while. The beauty about fashion is that you can easily recreate this outfit with items from your closet or just by checking at your favorite spots to shop.
