Thursday Threads | Baring It All

It’s Thursday vodka lovers and time for Thursday Threads!

Lately, I’ve been begging for any excuse to get outside and hang out with friends. Luckily last week we had a brief moment to do that at Stephanie’s house. I knew that we would be outside and it was little humid from the multiple days of rain we’ve been experiencing so I pulled out a high waisted circle skirt and crop top for the relaxed evening.

I’ll be honest, my beach body is not here (and I’m guilty for slowly getting into the rhythm of working out again). So I’m constantly looking for way to cheat the system when it comes to a crop top, because let’s face it I’m not a Victoria’s Secret model. So this crop top is everything when it’s forgiving my curves, especially with the cute feminine ruffle at the bottom. The skirt was a last minute choice because I couldn’t find my favorite pair of jeans – but in the end I’m happy with it.

What I’ve learned over the last few years is that not all of us are meant to have beach bodies. I’m okay with that, I was ridiculously skinny in high school, suffered through an eating disorder before my wedding, and finally grew into curves that I love.

I guess what I’m trying to say with this Thursday Threads is that you have to be happy with yourself. You have to rock any outfit you put on and know that at the end of the day you are worth it.

Yes, yes, yes! At the end of the day, stop comparing yourself and be happy with where you are at and who you are, and always know you are worth it! Preach!! Happy Thursday!
