Thursday Threads | The Infamous Mustard Skirt

Hello vodka lovers! I’m linking up with one of my blogger besties, Valery Brennan, for her inaugural post of Thursday Threads. Each week she is challenging you to pull out your best threads and piece together an outfit that screams YOU!

At least that’s how I’m interpreting it and sharing an outfit with the infamous mustard skirt. If you don’t know the story behind this beauty, I suggest starting here. Oh and I’ve already blog about how infamous it is here.

You get the idea, I have a sick obsession with this skirt and if I could wear it all the time – I would.

This outfit is my go-to work attire whenever I need to feel like an absolute lady. My career is very much a male driven world and I’m not going to compromise my style points to fit in with the boys.

I’ve incorporated a lot of sass and spunk in order to show the guys that I’m getting the job down, with a fabulous outfit to boot. Sometimes its all about wearing an outfit that adds confidence to your stride as soon as you put it on.

That’s what this outfit is all about – commanding attention, wowing the room, and making a bold statement that this is not only a man’s world!

DO IT! I am going to invest in the peacock blue color because clearly I have a serious thing for this skirt.

What the heck, how did I never comment on this?! I LOVE this outfit so dang much. The shirt is so professional and fits you perfectly but the skirt keeps it playful. Then the pattern on the shoes!? Girrrrrl. Killing it.
