Our lives are connected by a thousand invisible threads, and along these sympathetic fibers, our actions run as causes and return to us as results.
That quote is proudly displayed on the Vera Bradley Foundation website and speaks volumes to their continued efforts for breast cancer research. On Saturday, I was very fortunate enough to spend a beautiful afternoon with close friends and extended family at the Tickled Pink, A Gathering of Sisters event hosted by The Vintage House and Vera Bradley Foundation.
The Vintage House hosted an amazing event with tons of raffle prizes, food & sweet treats, photo opportunities, and two special guests. We were able to hear the story behind the Vera Bradley Company & Foundation from Joan Bradley Reedy and Vera Bradley Co-Founder Barbara Bradley Baekgaard. You read that right, CO-FOUNDER of VERA BRADLEY! Talk about being tickled pink!!!!!!! I’ve been a die hard Vera Bradley collector since receiving my first cosmetic bag in 2004 – and I GOT TO MEET THE CO-FOUNDER!
This was a dream come true and I couldn’t be more proud to be apart of such an amazing event. Nan, the owner of The Vintage House, has been in my life since 2004 and I’ve been fortunate enough to see her fight and beat breast cancer twice. The sense of purpose this event brought to the fight against breast cancer was phenomenal.
There are no words how amazing this weekend was, so please enjoy all all of the fun pictures!
I cannot express how much fun I had working with the funnest group of close friends that I’ve had the pleasure of knowing over the years. This year was amazing and I am looking forward to what next year has in store.
