Welcome Back to Reality Educators!

This is the most joyous time of the year for me. Not only is my birthday month quickly approaching, but this week has been peppered with my favorite Facebook statuses of the entire year.

BACK TO SCHOOL!

Meet the Teacher Nights, Back to School bashes, and Target & Wal-Mart school supply section becoming cluttered aisles that us normal people are able to avoid!

That’s right educators of America, it’s back to school. You’ve enjoyed the entire summer of lazy days, late nights, and free time – now it’s back to reality.

How ya feelin’?

Having fun meeting all those kids and parents? Started getting into the routine of making it to bed at a decent time? Have those long days of training been solid preparation to your inevitable return to the classroom?

I hope those classrooms are decorated, you’re taking your vitamins and have tons of hand sanitizer (kids carry a ton of germs), and ready for those lesson plans because you grooming the future of America.

I salute you educator of America, I do. We are not all called for that role in life and I would traumatize children. Not everyone is made to be a teacher.

In short, welcome back to reality and don’t fuck this up!

l3yS7WMHey #backthatazzup Friday! I feel like it’s my duty to link a song up for my own sanity going into the weekend. My musical choice this week goes to AlunaGeorge “You Know You Like It.” It’s been my song of choice lately for a lot of different things and I may have even created some pretty vulgar car dance moves to go along with it. I apologize to all those drivers on 75 and 190….I’m a raunchy car dancer and this song really brings out the naughty girl in me.

It really is. The teachers have it rough and I secretly envy their summers off.
